We share this story based on our work with participants who are Neurodivergent, have experienced trauma or those living with a mental health condition – people who may process things differently.
This story compliments our training offer on hosting accessible Creative Storytelling experiences.
The Litter Network
Have you ever spotted groups of high viz wearing volunteers litter picking by roads, rivers and alleyways? Warrington has an extensive litter picking network tackling the wave of rubbish that finds it’s way onto our streets each day. Tom went on a Tuesday adventure with them & joined their WhatsApp group. This is a little collection of findings.
Thank you to all who tread the pavements, parks and byways and keep Warrington a much cleaner and tidier place.
Soup, Chat, Pots and Brews, The Old School
The Old School in Warrington turns Monday afternoons into a hive of soup, laughter, catch ups, crusty rolls, squash, coffee and teas. Tom spent some time, listened, chatted, ate, drank, wrote and encouraged others to. Thank you to The Old School and all who attend Super Social at 12 on a Monday.
Hats
Hats is a celebration of all the different things that we are, we do and what we could be based on play with families with children under 5 at Babyzone in Warrington.
Belong- The Song of the Selkie’s Child
When you father steals your mother’s seal skin, and you know the right thing is to let her go. The Selkie’s child comes to her mother and pledges to help her find her seal skin, even if it means losing her mother to the sea.
